Breadline

1751 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC | 202-822-8900

The Breadline celebrates the ability that great bread and authentic food have to bring communities of friends, neighbors, and acquaintances together.

The Breadline has long been known for serving delicious sandwiches, irresistible salads, homemade soups, and the best bread in Washington.  Our secret is simple:  The Breadline’s recipes are made with only the best ingredients: from Italian prosciutto to the freshest Maryland crabmeat, to seasonal produce.  Everything we serve is made from scratch (yes even our ketchup and mayonnaise), and our breads are baked fresh every day.

Located across from the World Bank, and one block from The White House, The Breadline has also long been known for its international (and bipartisan) appeal. We serve recipes from around the globe to customers from around the globe. Our menu changes daily, but our commitment to serving “authentic and thoughtful food” never waivers.
